Checker agreement
Your status
You join Checkerist as an independent contractor, not an employee. You decide when you're available and which checks you accept. You're responsible for your own taxes, insurance and any registration your country requires.
Standards
- Visit the property in person at the agreed time.
- Follow the report template and answer every question the traveller asked.
- Report honestly what you saw. Never accept payment or gifts from a host to influence a report.
- Don't photograph people, number plates or personal documents.
- Only enter a property with the host's permission. Never put yourself at risk.
Pay
You set your own prices. You receive the price of each completed check, minus Checkerist's commission shown in your checker dashboard, once the traveller approves the report or the review period ends. Early checkers pay no commission during their first 12 months.
Contact with travellers
Communicate with travellers only through Checkerist. Don't take payment directly or offer services outside the platform to travellers you meet through it.
Quality and removal
We review reports and traveller feedback. We may pause or remove checkers who miss visits, file inaccurate reports or break this agreement.
Data
Use traveller information only to carry out the check, and delete any copies on your devices once the report is approved.
