A travel agent side hustle that uses what you already know
Commission on holiday rentals is thin and slow. Checking properties for travellers pays a fixed fee within days, using local knowledge you already have.
Why it fits travel agents
You already field questions like 'is this place genuine?' and 'is the area safe?'. As a checker, you answer them in person for travellers from the UK, and you're paid for it.
Fits around bookings
Whether you're a full-time agent or a part time travel agent, accept only the checks that fit your week. Unlike most travel agent jobs from home, you're paid per visit, not per booking. A Full check takes around an hour on site plus 20 minutes to finish the report on your phone.
Build your local reputation
Your Checkerist profile shows the areas you cover and your experience. Travellers who trust your report may come back to you when planning their next trip.
What you earn
You set your own price
Choose a starting price for each check and each extra service. Travellers see it on your profile, and you confirm the final price for each property before they pay.
Paid safely, every time
The traveller's payment is held by our payment provider while they review your report, then released to you, usually within 3 days. Payouts go straight to your bank account.
