Why check a rental in Lyon?
Gîtes, Riviera apartments and Paris flats are popular with UK travellers, and Paris in particular sees fake listings that ask for payment by transfer.
Local tip
Many French cities require a registration number on short-term rentals. Paris listings should show one. No number is a reason to ask questions.
